Mr. Chocolate

by Scot Sax

/
  • Compact Disc (CD) + Digital Album

“Mr.Chocolate” is the latest creation from the mind of Grammy-winning songwriter and film maker Scot Sax. In the last 3 years alone, Sax has made a documentary, published a children's book, started a podcast, moved to Nashville with his songwriter/cardiologist wife Suzie Brown and become a dad to Josephine and Chloe.

"When my all-time favorite artist David Bowie passed, I decided there is no better time to be as wildly creative as when you're still alive. I reached out to a couple neighbors of mine (who happen to be former-WILCO drummer Ken Coomer and Bob Dylan's former guitarist John Jackson ) and said 'We're 16 years-old. Let's have fun' ".

Rounding out the band was Phil D'Agostino on bass.

An album of ink-still-dry songs were cut in 2 days at Coomer's studio.

"Coomer says ' whats the name of the band?' Sax quickly drew a cartoon guy on a scrap piece of paper and wrote 'Mr. Chocolate" on his name tag. "That's the band”.

Scot Sax IS Mr. Chocolate on this brand new release!
